where we operate
With the institutional hosting of Instituto Superior TĂ©cnico, ALPHA's in-person sessions take place on two campuses: Alameda (Lisbon) and Taguspark (Oeiras). This collaboration allows students to learn in excellent university facilities, providing early contact with the academic environment. The program is entirely developed and coordinated by TreeTree2. During application, students can choose their location preference, being allocated based on available spots.

Instituto Superior TĂ©cnico hosts ALPHA through a collaboration agreement with TreeTree2. This partnership offers:
- Access to equipped classrooms and laboratories for in-person sessions
- Inspiring university environment that motivates young scientists
- Contact with the academic community, including occasional lectures by IST researchers

ALPHA's weekly sessions alternate between in-person (at IST) and online in a hybrid model that offers flexibility. Each quarter includes 11 weeks: six in-person sessions and five online. Odd weeks, including the first and last, are in-person, while even weeks are online. Students can choose between two calendars, being allocated according to availability.

schedules
Each Class's sessions are always at the same time each quarter, whether in-person or online. When applying, each student indicates their preference for each schedule. Each ALPHA session, in-person or online, consists of two collaborative learning blocks of 60 and 75 minutes, with a 15-minute break.
