team

We're like an after-school program, a music school, or a sports club, but focused on Science and Mathematics. We are a nonprofit organization formed by young scientists, engineers, and doctors, with the goal of transforming STEM education in Portugal. We provide children and young people with the opportunity to explore topics beyond the school curriculum, meet peers with similar interests, and spark curiosity in areas such as Programming, Astrophysics, Genetics, and Artificial Intelligence, promoting scientific development and solutions for the planet's future.

our relationship with IST

ALPHA is entirely developed and managed by TreeTree2. We benefit from the institutional hosting of Instituto Superior Técnico, where in-person sessions take place, allowing students to experience an excellent university environment.

  • •Most of our team are IST students and recent graduates, selected and trained by TreeTree2
  • •IST generously provides its campuses for our sessions
  • •Proximity to the academic community allows us to regularly invite IST professors and researchers as special speakers
